Event Description
Luis Gallego is the recipient of the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce annual recognition and will be presented with the 2023 Business Leader of the Year Award. The Board of Directors of the Chamber awards Luis Gallego for his vision and consummate leadership over the years, and for his ability to steer one of the world’s largest airline groups through some of the greatest challenges facing the global aviation industry. They also recognize his contributions in the success of IAG’s sustainability efforts including support to new startups in the industry, investment in new technologies, and commitment to implementing a net zero roadmap.
Each year, the Chamber takes great pride in celebrating the accomplishments of an outstanding and influential business leader who has made a significant contribution to the economic growth of Spain or the United States, and to improving business relations between the two countries.
